I checked again and it was 'The Royal Oak' 121 Grange Rd.
Maybe some people just called it 'The Oak' even though its full name was 'Royal Oak'
When I was just 17 in 1961ish I used to go to the 'Grange Hotel' ran by a fella called Roy (christian name). I was with my older mates and we went there because they had a dart board in the back room and Roy let us spend hours there.
