Since my partner came home from hospital, a care package was put in place by the NHS. The carers are hard working and they are doing a great job. However, the other night it was raining hard and a young girl came at 7.30pm just as it was getting dark. She had been covering a 5 square mile area on foot. She was soaking wet so I gave her a lift to her next call. She had been working since 6am. She doesn't get travel expenses either. I kicked off with the so called care team next day who were told they need to either organise themselves or I am calling in the media for this modern day slave labour. There are lots of them like her while these companies rip off the sick and the carers...I cannot believe this goes on in modern day..
