Will you please check that the thread heading is modified to suit what you are going to say.

The Durham Court thread down below switched to care home discussion but kept the same heading.

In recent weeks we have had the original tread with say 4 or 5 replies but then under the same heading 6 or more with a change of subject linked or otherwise.

This is happening quite a lot these days. It may not be necessary to go to a new thread in a lot of cases.

Slightly off topic. I'm still a pencil and paper guy so have to admit I don't know how to start a topic, post, on this board ..? Still in my Wise Old Grannies time frame., so comment on topics already posted.

If you go to the very top of Norman's site you will see [Post a Response]. Click on that and it will open up a window that you can then put in 'Your Name', 'Subject' then type in your "Message'. You can preview your message 'Preview' Button before posting, make changes if necessary, and then hit 'Post' Button. Hope this helps.

I can sympathise with you both, I never knew how to post an article I always used to email the article to Norman who very kindly posted it for me, then I received instructions as to how to post on the Board, it is simple so now I don’t have to bother Norman.

You have been posting for years and you still do not know how to operate the system. It simple enough the headings are there.

Norman you and your team often move things around at times so you know that it happens.

An instruction Manuel maybe needs to be up with the header info. Just like the one about the admin.

And of course, members often comment how a thread goes..."off-thread"? and actually ENJOY that, kinda like a conversation in the pub...starts on one subject....then drifts....keeps it entertaining?

The thing about Norman’s site is it is never boring, we all enjoy a bicker with one another from time to time, like you say Malcolm, conversations start on one topic then nine times out of ten people go off in a tangent - that’s life, which is too short to worry about trivia!!

We know a Post can start off as one subject and then it might change to another but no one is bothered apart from today. So no changes are needed everyone, just ignore the moans. They dont bother me or the admins.
