dismiss me and Jesus all you want.. it's to your own peril
Jesus instructed his disciples to shake the dust off their feet as a symbolic act when they were not welcomed or their message was rejected. This gesture, mentioned in passages like Matthew 10:14 and Luke 10:10-11, was a way of showing that they were no longer responsible for the spiritual consequences of those who refused to listen. It signified a separation from the rejection and a warning to those who dismissed the message of the Kingdom of God. This act also had cultural significance. In Jewish tradition, shaking off dust was a way of repudiating anything associated with unclean or unholy places. By doing this, the disciples were emphasizing the seriousness of rejecting God's message. You're in seriously bad place.
