Lack of decent paying jobs. The stock market is an entity unto itself. It’s parasitic. A massive global market valuation of capitalist assets. The market goes up every time manufacturing in the US (and elsewhere) are moved to China or even lower pay nations. Or 20,000 workers are fired. It’s the loss of manufacturing jobs that triggered the slide. Clinton was (corporations) their president. Thats the start-time for the massive deficits we see today, imo. Clinton’s reward? A $Billion dollar foundation.
