Consider the faith of friends that lowered the paralytic through the roof while Jesus was in a house in Capernaum teaching the crowded place. He never asked him anything, just saw the faith of his friends and told him to get up from his mat and go home. Another place he told the man his sins were forgiven.
While this was amazing in and of itself...there were still doubters in the crowd saying how could he do this..and he doesn't have that kind of authority..
And the take on that, from my perspective, is they plainly missed the grace Jesus was extending they could have reached for themselves.
So, will God accept his change of mind, maybe heart,and extend that same mercy and grace he freely gives to those who ask?
