Rather, the argument was that you were guaranteed under the Democrats to get an utterly supine administration that would, at absolute most, make a few tut tutting noises while continuing to defend and support Israel in their campaign of ethnic cleansing.

So if you wanted any chance at an administration that might do something different, then given Trump’s erratic and unpredictable foreign policy, a vote for him was the best bet, in fact the only option with a non-zero chance.

That never meant the chance was very high, or that things couldn’t possibly be worse, but rather that a vote for Harris guaranteed the continuation of Israel’s offensive with full support from the US.
