each team had 10 possessions in this years game. there were 12 in the 2023 game
that's been about the fall off around college football. average game was about 12 possessions, current games are about 10 possessions. was not uncommon pre clock changes for games to have 15 or 16 possessions per team. the Bama Clemson NC game in 2017 had something like 35 total possessions. Previous Message Previous Message i'd have to look but those two possessions alone probably accounted for 25% of the total game time. Previous Message It was 21-6 going into the 4th... it's 2 possessions. You can't really pull Luke and then put him back in if we do something stupid. But that Rutgers game, we were up 35-6 going into the 4th, and they did score a TD in the 4th... but it was never in doubt.
