And regional jets don't suck nearly as much as they used to. We're almost exclusively CRJ 700's and 900's and the larger Embraer ERJs and E-Jets.

Never have to worry about 3 wide, and they pretty much all have some level of midrange upgrade from coach (like Comfort+) and First Class seating, so if you want a little more room you can get it.

Other than not having directs and a lesser choice of departure times, I love flying out of smaller airports. With TSA Prechceck, I can get to the airport 30 minutes before boarding starts, check a bag, and still have time to grab a beer on the way to the gate.
