for models, claude 4.6 is definitely better than claude 4.0, which is lightyears better than 3.5
at least at writing code. the tooling around the model also matters. claude code (the cli) is definitely better than kiro (aws's) and cline (opensource cli) today, even if they all use claude 4.6 as the underlying model.
