no PTO payout references at all in Employment and Separation Agreements. It's just not addressed. I have 325 hours in the bank, so it's a big deal to me.  Previous Message Illinois does require employers to pay out unused vacation time to employees upon separation, but use-it-or-lose-it policies are allowed.
