There are probably a lot of bears fans in NW Indiana, just as there are a lot of jets fans in New Jersey. But for the legacy fans in Chicago metro (and NYC/Long Island in the NY example), it becomes far worse to go to games. Plus the small provincialism deficit as well for being out of state.
