What’s the issue with Monmarte? My wife started looking in that area*
 Previous Message I've stayed in the Latin Quarter twice and the Marais once and both are super convienient and centrally located to all the major sites in Paris. Any single digit arrondisment is going to be centrally located and in a good spot, though. Someone will suggest staying in Montmarte, which I would advise against as a first time visitor. Planning a trip for late August/early September and planning on 5 or 6 nights in Paris. Little overwhelming trying to figure out best area to stay, we’ll probably do many of the touristy things, but also like to explore neighborhoods and will use transit to get around.
