We're actually staying a night in Mostar, so will likely get into Dubrovnik late the first
night. May be a good time to see the city lit up. So really just 2 full days there. Was thinking of taking a ferry to an island while there. Previous Message I thought it was amazingly well lit at night. During the day, you get great views from outside the walls (and on top of the walls) of the town and the coast line. Would recommend the walk of the walls, which is a full walk at the top of the city walls surrounding the town. We almost did it twice we liked it so much. I'd recommend a hike (there might be a funicular?) to the top of the ridge overlooking the town. I think we may have done the funicular up and the walk down, which is easier if needed. Other than that, it's just a lot of exploring the town for the most part. There's a few fairly slapdash put together museums commemorating those lost in the Balkan Wars (one at the top of the ridge, another at the east gate area), which was a definite whoa moment for me because the people aren't far off my age. Also because you can't imagine a place so beautiful being bombed. There’s a bar outside the western edge of the city walls that you go through a wall nook to get to. That was a cool little spot. I am notorious for remembering 0 restaurant names on any trip I do, so I got nothing for you there. 3 days might be a tad much, so you may want to consider a side trip to Kotor or Mostar, which aren't too far. Previous Message I’m going to be there for three days this summer?
