Cramer just did a nice piece on that on Mad Money
Complimenting S&P and contrasting a passive S&P fund with other passive funds focused on NASDAQ or indexes with different rules. He mentioned that some of these big names may not be included for quite a while because S&P requires a profit (of a particular kind). But I am glad that some index will let in these massive IPOs because they are too big to ignore. Passive investors need a way to participate in their market activity.  Previous Message
