I assume the video talks about converting a bunch of money while your income is low before social security and RMDs kick in? I’ll read up on it more, but have to figure out how to do that while also taking capital gains at the 0% rate. Might take some finessing but I’m hoping to have a ton of years before hitting SS/RMDs so if I’ve got 20 years, might be able to get all capital gains at 0% and only pay 12% tax on my rollovers.
