Martin Short clearly has some trauma from the movie as it didn’t do well and was panned on release as mentioned. It’s a movie from a bad period of his life making critically panned movies. He joked about how so many 40 year old men come up to him telling him how much that movie meant to them and only recently has he appreciated and stopped looking at them with a bit eye rolling or contempt.
On the other hand Lorne loudly brags about that movie as a success of his haha.
