Not necessarily a terribly bad thing and in some ways makes sense. The before times story and plot was given a lot more dedicated attention in the books and that likely wouldn’t have translated well / would have lost people in the TV series.

I’ll watch it out and enjoy it I think. But need to have a bit of a different mindset watching it compared to the first two seasons.
