Yeah, Endgame was a big grand finale, so they are having to rebuild broader storylines and momentum Archived Message

But they are trying to do it using B and C list characters. Yes, Guardians of the Galaxy was huge, but that also came out after the MCU was rolling and had a built in audience. If that had been the first or second movie they released, I doubt it would have been a hit. Adding to their difficulty is the superhero fatigue—I think at the start there was some excitement at the scope and the idea that they were building towards the Avengers team up which helped carry them over the more middling efforts like Hulk and the first two Thor movies. But at this point, nobody really cares about that. If anything, the idea is exhausting rather than exciting. And finally, and maybe most importantly, the movies haven’t been especially good, from reviews and word of mouth and the ones I’ve seen. Previous Message I think the only one I've seen in a theater since Endgame was Thor Love & Thunder There definitely is MCU fatique. because everything is connected they've reached a point where you really can't just watch one thing and not be missing out on a lot of context and/or back story. Take The Marvels. to really understand the details of it you would have needed to watch Captain Marvel, Infinity War, Endgame, Ms. Marvel, and WandaVision. And for WandaVision you probably need to have seen Age of Ultron & Captain America: Civil War as well. plus they've lost of so many big stars/popular characters and having to rely on bottom of the barrel characters. also it seems like they are dropping all of their plans for Kang to be the main villain of this phase due to Jonathan Majors legal trouble good luck, Kevin Feige
