Previous Message Dress codes. I knew most Catholic schools had dress codes. I was unaware they had "grooming" codes as well. This weekend at first flag football we were getting to know some of the other parents. "Where do you live? / What school do you go to?" is a common one. One parent said that they live pretty close to us, didn't get the public school assignment they wanted and enrolled their kid in one of the Catholic schools in our neighborhood but were still in the application process for that public school. What kinda shocked me is that they said that they had to cut their kids hair. Instant recoil for me. In looking through the student dress codes for almost all of the Catholic elementary schools, it seems like this is a common thing. Yours too?
