Isn’t the USD up like 50% over that time period? International might look better if you adjust Archived Message

for that Previous Message So over the last 15 years, I’ve been maintaining about a 70/30 balance between domestic stocks and international stocks. This seems about in the conventional range typically recommended. Over those 15 years, it feels like each and every year the domestic stocks have outperformed. So I guess what I’m asking is, are other people feeling the same way? You’d think international stocks would be undervalued and start to see better gains, so I don’t want to miss the correction. But damn if I’m not looking back at these last 15 years or so and wishing I’d been more heavily in the domestic market.

- I’m 70/30 and plan to keep it that way. Seems a good balance between maximizing gains and minimizing - doubledown January 24, 2024, 16:08:58
