every safety video I've seen that mentions inert gas asphyxiation (usually for liquid nitrogen or other liquified gases) mentions that unconsciousness is quick and there's very little or no warning.
I wonder if they didn't introduce the nitrogen right away, or there was an air leak in the line. Maybe next time, just put them in a confined space and dump a bunch of liquid nitrogen onto the floor, or something
