I had no problem with the look we got for Domask and think he’d hit that at least half the time. But I was thinking about what else we could have tried, and my first thought was having Domask start the action out on one the wing rather than the top of the key, pairing him another shooter to kick to if they collapsed on him. We had that as Shannon at the top of the key in the play we ran, but there wasn’t a ton of spacing and he hasn’t been shooting well.
And it dawned on me that if you had to give me one guy to take a key shot right now (unless it’s an easy layup at the rim), there’s probably not anything I’m more confident in than Guerrier shooting an open spot up 3. You obviously can’t design that as the play and he’d have to be the secondary option if they double, but it’s reached the point where I’m surprised if any open 3 of his doesn’t go in.
Him and Hawkins continuing to shoot like this is really what can elevate us to elite contender status, it becomes nearly impossible to defend when combined with Shannon/Domask’s scoring ability + all the good cutters we have on this team now.

Positives:
1. Between TSJ and Rodgers, we effectively limited Boo in game 1. 2. Should be a good amount of orange in the crowd. 3. We didn’t shoot great from 3 on Sunday, so primed for a better game.
Negatives: 1. First true road game with TSJ and allegations. 2. We beat them by 30…I’m sure that didn’t please them. 3. NW tends to play out of their minds at home.
Feeling nervous on this one…predicting close game and I could see it going either way.
