on TV, ended up watching the last two hours. Forgot how incredible good it is. Has aged really well, actually—way ahead of its time as an insight into college sports, recruiting, Black athletes, and youth sports too. Also forgot some of the big names who show up in high school: Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose, Rashard Griffith, Howard Nathan Previous Message Yep, all 17 hours and 15 minutes of it. I'm not a big Vietnam guy, but I think this the best documentary he's ever produced (Civil War is still amazing, but the presentation has kind of aged. Baseball is also up there even if it's a bit too east coast focused..but I guess for the majority of the history of baseball, so was baseball). Of course Trent Reznor did the original score for it and it's great.
