walk and put a rookie and a second year guy back there. They promptly went from a very good defense to one that gave up explosive plays at an unsustainable pace. They were one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
Clearly, the position is being devalued by the league. I’m curious to see how this goes over the next few years. It has worked for RBs and LBs so far. With these modern passing games, I’m having a hard time believing you can devalue anything in the defensive backfield now.

Seahawks cut Jamal Adams and Quadre Diggs. There are approximately a million decent or better safeties on the FA market. At this point, feel pretty confident Bears will find their starting FS and C through FA.
