I feel pretty good about my guess on the birth father Archived Message

I’ve been in touch with a couple of relatives of the possible birth dad…one is who I think is a half-sister to my dad. So far, the match percentages work out, and he is in the right place at the right time. The birth mother I’m just starting to work on by eliminating paternal dna matches related to the ones who are related to the suspected birth dad. Looking for certain age and location among relatives of these matches. Previous Message Previous Message Current theory is the 40-year-old birth father (who might or might not have been married) knocked up a single 21-year-old lady who lived in the area. My dad was conceived most likely in September 1948; the father, who had lived all his life in Illinois, took a job in Florida in November 1948, then got married to a 22-year-old stewardess within a year. If I’ve guessed the birth parents correctly, the father might never have known—or, he might have found out and got himself outta state asap. 🤷🏼♀️ Previous Message I'll assume your dad's birth didn't align with his mom's husband's leave, so hopefully your clerk doesn't find familiar names.
