We never drove Centerline.....is it worse than North Shore? Archived Message

If so, and he's going that way, he definitely needs a Jeep. Previous Message Previous Message We had a minivan for 6 adults for a week on the island, and space was TIGHT. We took it over to St. John on the ferry, and drove the north coast after some rainshowers, and I was relatively convinced we were going to die. We were coming out of Trunk Bay headed east and couldn't make it up one of the curving wet hills....had to back down (in traffic) and get a running start and still struggled to get up and around the corner. It was truly a little scary. Previous Message Anyone have any suggestions? How many full size suitcases can I get in the back of a 4 door wrangler? With me, my wife, and 3 pre-teen/teen girls, we come with a lot of baggage. Literally. A jeep would be tight and a minivan would be better.

- How are the roads in St. Thomas? I just booked a house. Some places are saying you need a jeep. - LovetheChief March 13, 2024, 13:11:55
- Minivan will be fine for STT. Parts of STJ you may want a Jeep. - harb March 13, 2024, 14:17:06
