Which I am too lazy to try and figure out. Previous Message Do future presidents count in this exercise? Or I assume you meant Tyler. Previous Message Him, Jackson, Quincy Adams, Taylor, and Van Buren. But it went downhill fast. Jackson died in mid-45, JQA in 48, Polk in 49, and Taylor in 50. Previous Message Him, Tyler, Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, and Van Buren. Previous Message Right before Reagan died and right before Nixon died. Not sure if there have ever been 7. LBJ died relatively soon after leaving office. JFK and FDR died in office, and FDR served so long I don’t think it would have happened between him and Nixon. And before that, life expectancies were a lot shorter. Maybe late 19th century when there had been a run of mostly 1 term presidents? Although Grant died relatively young and Garfield died in office, so probably not. Previous Message Is this a high water mark?
