I think it’s more based on the assumption that the Bears are still high on Braxton Jones Archived Message

So they may think they’re good enough at LT. My concerns are much more with the 3 interior OL spots, but there’s no one you’d use pick #9 on for that. Previous Message And OL is more important to Caleb Williams' success than WR. Previous Message Previous Message Do you forego the assumed bigger needs at WR and DL and get yourself what is hopefully a franchise LT to pair with the RT you picked in the top 10 last year? Or do you not think it’s worth using that pick on an upgrade from Braxton Jones rather than filling a more glaring need? I also have no idea what a Braxton Jones trade return would be, hard to tell if the league would consider him to actually good or not. But given that he’s cheap, maybe you could get something like a 3rd? Previous Message With opening day and Sweet 16, bears are still out there. Louis Riddick says Daniel’s is the clear # 1. Whoever we pick is going to bust and the other guy is going to be awesome. Just feel it coming.

- Hypothetical for Bears fans - all 3 WR’s are gone but TEN doesn’t take Alt and he’s there at #9 - OB25 March 27, 2024, 15:12:48
- If Alt, MHJ, Nabers aren't on the board at the #9 pick, should the Bears trade it away? - ibdoc March 27, 2024, 15:53:58
- I’d probably take Turner if I couldn’t trade down.* - Carl Spackler March 27, 2024, 15:46:34
- While I don't think Braxton is a weakness at LT, I'd probably take Alt. - bjl63 March 27, 2024, 15:40:32
- I would take Alt. * - VIV March 27, 2024, 15:37:22
- If a top 3 wr is there at 9 and we pick alt, I would be OK with that. - gvibes March 27, 2024, 15:24:50
- is WR a bigger need?* - torinese March 27, 2024, 15:14:11
- Guys are just trying to get takes off now in hopes of having a clip to go back to later - OB25 March 27, 2024, 15:00:47
