It would have taken an A+ game to beat them, and we clearly didn’t have that.
I think the frustrating part was that we do have personnel that created some unique challenges for them, but we really didn’t do a particularly good job of exploiting it. I think having only 42 hours between games probably limited what we could do to prep.
But beating them was a massive longshot anyway.

But I must've been different because I expected to lose this game.
This didn't affect me like the Loyola game did or others. It sucks the season is over but and it sucks we had to face UConn as opposed to some of the other teams in the Elite 8 but to me the Elite 8 was an excellent achievement.
The 30-0 run sucked terribly but I am kind of surprised at some of the tone around here. UConn is great. We made the Elite 8. It was a satisfying tournament to me.
But maybe I was also prepared going to last year's Elite 8 game in Vegas and watching UConn absolutely house Gonzaga.
I was kind of surprised at how many on this board were looking for ways to suggest that UConn actually isn't a great basketball team.
