Cost me about $3k out of pocket, and it was a false positive. Clean as a whistle and on a 10 year cycle.
Hopefully the insurance companies have changed how they view these, because if they haven't, you're better off just getting the colonoscopy in the first place and saving money and the anxiety that comes from false positive results.

If your Cologuard comes back positive, they will then require a Colonoscopy. Some carriers do not cover the Colonoscopy bc it’s no longer diagnostic…at least it used to be that way so it’s worth checking out before you risk being on the hook for all of that $$.
