To me, this is how I'd do it. Archived Message

Phantom Menace is a good starter. Fun and kid accessible. Then you could maybe show them Attack of the Clones, and then do the Clone Wars cartoons. Then skip to New Hope and Empire Strikes back. Those are fine for kids that are 10. Then, after that, go back to Revenge of the Sith. At this point, show the last four episodes of Clone Wars...they're heavy, but they're good. Then Solo...then Star Wars Rebels, then Rogue One. Then culminate with Andor. Then (if you have time) watch the original trilogy again in its' entirety. Show Episodes 7-9 after all of that. There's no perfect way to go, you could also do Machete Order with the movies which is: 1. New Hope 2. Empire Strikes Back 3. Phantom Menace/Attack of the Clones (show Clone Wars cartoon series here, but there are a billion episodes of that...it takes a while...skip the last 4 episodes) 4. Revenge of the Sith (then plop in last 4 episodes of Clone Wars, then show Solo, then show Star Wars Rebels, then Rogue One) 5. Return of the Jedi 6. Then the new series (7-9) Ultimately your kid is a 5th grader...they're probably fine with any of this assuming you haven't completely sheltered them. Previous Message how old is old enough for each of the movies? how old is old enough for the different series. my step son is turning 10, and I thought he'd already seen IV and V, but this morning he told me he's only see Phantom Menace. I think he's too young for Andor. Do you agree? Would it be okay for him to watch Rogue One/IV back to back? We watch Clone Wars together and he's watched Bad Batch. I think he can handle Obi-Wan Kenobi...thoughts. And general thoughts on the others. He's been allowed (reluctantly) to play some Fortnight.
