Are you doing it in a lake? Have you ever cold plunged before? Archived Message

I think there's relatively low risk, but there's not no risk. I routinely get in the Pacific near me and that water is in the low 50s and it absolutely takes your breath away at first dip. If you're getting into water in the 30s, be careful if you've never done that before. Make sure there's people around that are not plunging incase someone has a medical emergency. Previous Message I'm doing the polar plunge in Springfield on my work's team. First year I'm doing it. I did it because work said the first 5 people who signed up would get a personal day off. So far only 3 people have signed up for it (the other two who usually do are gonna be out of town for tournaments for their kids)
