Time of day matters, of course, but 294 could be WAY worse than it is.* Archived Message

Previous Message since my wife is driving up herself with our oldest. she gets really nervous in heavy traffic in areas she's not familiar with and this is completely new territory for her/us Previous Message then depending on time of day, a few options: if there's no traffic , you could theoretically take the ike all the way downtown to the dan ryan to 57. most likely, i'd exit at Rt83 south- then either go 55 south to 47 (dwight) and take that to mahomet (74), then in to CU or keep taking 83 south past 55, then take the cal sag cutoff to la grange rd south down to 80, then 80 east to 57 south. some homer glen/ OP people could probably navigate you faster than down la grange rd, but i'm going for simple. i have to imagine any of those would be better than going all the way out to 39.
