My dad may spend way too much time playing games on his computer and posting stuff on FB, but every once in a while he posts something like this that is pretty cool.
"March fifth 1953. 3/5/53 That was the day Harold Bosch, Tom Wilson and I, enlisted in U.S.A.F.. We were sent to Sampson Air Force for our basic training. It was a WW II P.O.W. camp in Rochester N.Y. Part of our training was spending a night sleeping on the frozen ground . That was just a few miles from the U.S. Canada border."
