Previous Message on Facebook. When I make my trips back there I try to hit a favorite or 2 and try at least one new-to-me place. There are SO many on my bucket list to try, but my current top 5 that I have had are: Angelo's DG - really close to my mom's house so that's a bonus...and there are a dozen very good or better places within 10 minutes Frank's on Belmont in Chicago - classic old school great pizza and place Wells Brothers Racine, WI - a classic north of the border Zaffiro's Milwaukee - another way der up north, the thinnest most unexpectedly great pizza I ever had Barnaby's Northbrook - takes me back to some of the old great Barnaby's locations, but this is the only one remaining that nails it. Still hold Papa Dels in Champaign close to my heart (thin crust)
