Capitol Hill is the most densely populated area in the city, lots of younger people live there Archived Message

Fremont (where I live) is quieter, but still has a lot of great cafes and bars/breweries. Previous Message all of the hotels are mostly downtown, but I really like getting out and exploring the neighborhoods. If you're planning to stay downtown, I prefer the area around Pike Place. If you wanted an AirBNB, consider Capitol Hill, Ballard, or Fremont. Previous Message I know this is well trodden ground here, but I could use a little advice! Our family will be there in early August for a few days as part of a bigger road trip. I am wondering if anywhere in the general downtown area is as good as anywhere else to stay, or if I should be looking at a specific area? I am considering some Airbnb's, but open to any suggestions.
