Previous Message We rely on the IT services of our British partial owners and for some reason they have our network security tight as a fucking drum. It's frequently an issue. Password changes are especially precarious. I was prompted to change my network password on Sunday in the middle of the night (Monday workday for them). I did so and then needed to log back into all of my applications with my new password. No big deal right? WRONG. My applications after entering the new password require me to open up MS Authenticator on my phone and enter a 2-digit code to verify my identity. After the password update, my Authenticator is locked with no ability to reset because of a circular loop of authenticator asking me to use authenticator to authenticate myself. I attempted to reach out via my gmail account, which ofcourse was probably flagged as a phishing attempt. My manager and now US Controller have both been attempting to get me cleared again to no avail. Over / under on how much longer this goes or am I being DOGE'ed.
