Seen the ads for that upcoming Jim Carrey movie, "The Truman show?" It's
about a young boy whose life is filmed on a tv network with all parts scripted
for him. The only wildcard was how the boy would turn out.
I think I've figured out jordon: Back in 1984, NBC and the NBA decided to
run an experiment. They would take a player whose abilities are on par with
a 6th round draft pick. They would have him selected 3rd in the draft. The
league would give preferential treatment from the officials and the league
office like no other player in history. NBC would hype this player up unlike
no other marginal player has ever *dreamed* of being hyped. They would
broadcast this hype and see if the public was/is gullible enough to buy
it. They even co-created a webpage to jock this mediocer player (nba.com).
Just like the ads for the Truman movie, where they have some close calls,
like the guy who pops out of the Christmas package and screams "I'm on TV!"
there have been some close calls for this mediocer player, jordon, such as
when Judden proved that from 1993 to 1994, the Bulls only slipped 2 games
while replacing this scrub with a CBA scrub. Judden has been the bane of
this conspiracy, but they keep chugging away. Realize, foolish jordon
jockers, you have been set up!!!

For those wondering, yes, I am aware that back in 1984 CBS was televising the
games (any coincidence that the finals were more enjoyable and didn't have
the sense that the entire thing was scripted out?). However, since NBC
hatched the plan, they and the NBA kept this behind closed doors and didn't
really start the ball rolling until NBC took over the game. That is why
the Bulls coincidently started winning these "scripted" finals after NBC
took over. That is also why in the late 1980s, there was no foolish talk
about jordon being "the greatest player of all time", because CBS was far
too intelligent to say such stoopid things on the air.
