Not a weather peep, but being in STL, I've also been watching closely. Archived Message

All the smart weather people I follow are saying tonight's storms will be a strong single line of very quick moving storms. It should form in central missouri late afternoon/early evening, pass through STL around 8 or 9, and hold together through illinois from 10p-1a depending on where you are before dissipating. there might be some small tornadoes (QLCS- see video below), but the most severe part of this is going to be the straight line winds. could see 60-70+ mph gusts.
Tomorrow down in Mississippi and Alabama has a much more favorable setup for dangerous long-track violent tornadoes.
