Does cooking one of her favorite dinners count? Seriously, though, I was in my philosophy and religion class this morning, and one of the brief topics was about the famous assertion from Matthew that one shouldn't "hide your light under a bushel" and its relationship to humility. Whereas that can be about your own talents and accomplishments, such as Roberta herself, it can also be about celebrating and thanking God for the good fortune in having such a wonderful S.O. The word "celebrate" has religious origin.... And, no, it's not related to "celibacy" - not on the mind of Roberta and her man in that song. |
