Yeah, it's early, but he whiffed at nearly a 30% rate and was barely above Mendoza line last year in a hitter's paradise.
Issue has been that he can't hit velocity. Seems it may be continuing. Again, still early, but may be time to stop anointing him as the SS heir apparent and trying to see if he can be better than Zack Collins.
On the bright side, just about everyone else in Charlotte crushed opening weekend.
