Brussels is fine, but it just feels like a lot of big cities. Haven't been to Belgium in 15 years, so that could be the spot.

If so, Belgium is the obvious choice since it’s on the way. I didn’t love Brussels personally, but I’ve heard Bruges and Ghent are very nice.
If you’re down to fly, honestly all of Europe ends up pretty easy (as I’m sure you well know).

Is there a good alternative to Paris for Monday-Thursday in between? Looking for easy, quick travel.
Note: this trip is happening in August, not currently.
