Nothing at all. If you read that "diversity and contributions to equity" will be considered in naming as saying "no white men will be selected", then that says more about your view of what a white man is than your school board's naming policy. Secondly, there are schools in the county with white dudes as the namesake...presumably named before the policy. Yet, within the policy, there is a provision for renaming schools. Has that happened? Have the names of all the schools named after white guys been changed? Have the battles against the constantly besieged and downtrodden American White Male begun? Might be time to buy a 52nd gun.
