mrs. Effin's Dad (RIP) had a sawmill and among the many things he made (including most of the millwork in our house) were live edge shelves & a pub table for our basement. Interestingly, he didn't make our basement bar live edge. I really like that look.  Previous MessageWith a live edge. Also have a counter height sofa table I use as a bar for working and watching tv but it is manufactured and not a real slab of wood like the cottonwood piece. Previous MessageNeighbors are moving so they gave us the shed the prior homeowners had for storage. The current neighbors converted it into a bar. Had a shed mover over this morning to relocate it. Eventually need to get power ran to it for the tv & fridge, but the wood stove works when it gets chilly. |
