1. Prior to the Black Plague, it was considered immoral to do autopsies in Europe due to the Church's views on desecrating the body...the Black Plague eased that because people were so intent on finding out what was going on, and that led to medical knowledge and anatomical knowledge increasing. 2. Due to the massive amount of death, that led to a lot less people to work in agriculture. This led to increases in farming technology to get more done with less people, and also allowed the remaining peasant/serf class to gain land and more rights since they were more needed. 3. More food and resources were available for a while after the Black Plague since there were less consumers. And if you took time to read all of that, then I appreciate you.  Previous Message
