“Bad pop country” is an unfair characterization of the Keith Urban song he covers here at the 2:15 mark, but it’s what we made me think about it. The original is a perfectly cromulent song with pretty creative lyrics, but is totally forgettable. But he makes it sound like it should be an all-time classic here.
