A) 30% tariffs on China definitely doesn’t bring back American manufacturing. At best, it offloads some of the reliance on China to manufacturing in Southeast Asia. So it’s essentially still just a tax.
B) Shipping prices are about to go bonkers as companies scramble to get a shitload of inventory from China on the water before Trump changed his mind again.
C) art of the deal, baby!!!! China basically sat silent and let Trump negotiate against himself. Tariffs on both sides are still higher than they were 6 months ago. So everyone loses!! Thanks, Don.
