So you might as well just go all in. Getting all the different providers together for extensions is really annoying. Previous Message Previous Message N-G On Thursday, the University of Illinois Board of Trustees will vote on whether to approve purchases including a $10 million high density Wi-Fi system for the stadium. "The system will be designed to handle the high traffic demands during events, ensuring that fans can stay connected, share their experiences on social media and access real-time information seamlessly," according to the description in the board's agenda. The new system would include the venue itself as well as the tailgating area in Grange Grove. Stadium operations such as ticketing, concessions and security would also run on the same network. Implementing the large-scale, large-volume internet system would require "the manufacture, installation, supply, delivery, labor, testing, and documentation of all necessary equipment and materials," according to the agenda. All that carries into the estimated $10 million price tag, which would be covered by event revenue, donations and private grants to the stadium.
