Remember that until the last decade none of this would even be happening. 📂 Archived Message

The summer league phenomenon has gotten kind of nuts where we treat these like real NBA games. They are months away from playing their first NBA game, except in extreme outlier cases I don’t think anyone should read much into anything that is happening here.
I’m not sure what value there even is in sending top draft picks like Wagler and having them start building up fan criticism over glorified practices. It should just be for figuring who can get bottom of the roster spots. Previous Message Previous Message Previous Message
In his debut, Wagler scored 7 points on 1-for-7 from the field, including 1-for-5 from 3-point range. He was a minus-23 while on the floor.
He also had just one assist in 27 minutes, to go with one turnover.
